A fun couple of hours experimenting with adding texture onto clay, developing ideas into a small wall hanging. All materials will be provided, you are very welcome to bring in items to press into the clay of your own, wall plaques will be bisque fired ready for you to pick up on a later date. £6 per person to cover materials and firing.

Knitted in the round using double pointed needles (DPNs), they are simple in design but very pretty and effective. Designed using 2 shades of Kidsilk Haze held together to give a soft blended effect and then picked up and knitted a frill in each shade at the top of the mitten. To participate in this event, you need to be able to cast on and off, knit, purl and read a pattern. This is suitable for a reasonably confident knitter. Not suitable for beginners.

This workshop will teach you how to work a closed cast on, knit the toe, increase for gusset, turn the heel and work the heel flap and how to do a stretchy cast off. In addition you will learn how to knit socks on circular needles using the magic loop method. You will also learn how to knit 2 socks at a time. All materials supplied. Suitable for confident novice and intermediate knitters.

Ocean Studios Resident Susie Abel and a group of friends are crocheting, Knitting, a daisy chain to raise money and awareness for a little girl called daisy who has mitochondrial disease.
