DESCRIPTION

Please book via Eventbrite HERE

This fun and engaging 3 hour workshop (choose either a morning session from 10:00 - 13:00 or an afternoon session from 14:00 - 17:00) will enable you to give a new lease of life to old pieces of clothing! Through drawing, you will create a design based on anything and everything that inspires you or you might just be inspired by the shape of the garment and want to design a placement print. Anything is possible! You will then cut out and create your design using garment vinyl. So get rummaging through your wardrobe to give that old tshirt, sweatshirt, or pair of jeans a second chance!

Any age welcome but please keep in mind you will be using scissors and specialist equipment during the session. Any under 18s will need to be accompanied for the duration of the workshop by a paying adult.

MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT

You just need to bring along some clothes that need a new lease of life, all other tools and materials are provided. The clothing you bring must be able to withstand heat and be able to be pressed flat (nothing with previous embellishment) You might struggle with a very textured fabric (for example, a hand knitted jumper) but if in doubt bring it along and we can give it a go! It's definitely worth bringing along any design inspiration (magazine cut outs, drawings, books etc...) so you can get straight in to it when you attend the session! Please wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing.
