As part of Plymouth History Festival, we are delighted to hold an exhibition offering a glimpse into the fascinating history of Plymouth’s iconic Royal William Yard. The show shares unique images and artefacts to give insight into the victualling yard’s intriguing past. Do you have a memory of Royal William Yard? We will be welcoming you to share it with us as part of the exhibition, #MyYard.
Tour | £6 | 7 May, 4-6pm
In addition, we will also be holding a fascinating tour of Royal William Yard. Delivered by renowned local historian Richard Fisher, the tour will explore the naval site's rich and little known history, from old railway tracks to the past victualling uses of each building. The tour will explore the Yard, before arriving at Ocean Studios for the very special open evening of our historic exhibition with refreshments included - anyone for ship's biscuits and rum? Tickets are available at the Eventbrite link here or at Column Bakehouse, Ocean Studios for £6.
